Letter to Husbands
Jun 24th, 2007 by Paul
Husbands and men,
I am here to tell you that you can be a better husband and father and it starts with you. That’s right it’s all up to you.
Let’s look at the facts, we men can be selfish, prideful, arrogant and even whine like babies to get our way and that’s just to name a few.
Bottom line is that we are not perfect and our wives already know this but they saw something in us that made them say “I do”. Yes, they believe and trust in us to be a loving devoted husband.
I have been married 24 years, I have one daughter and my wife and I still love each other very much. I still hold her hand and open doors for her, all of which she shows her appreciation.
Now here’s the deal. I will share with you some biblical principals and my personal experience of how I remained a loving devoted husband and caring father. My goal is to listen and share with you because I believe in marriage and know some of what you are feeling.
This will not be easy for some of you because you’ll have to do something you really don’t want to do and that is change. Change is one of the hardest things a man will face but trust me it will make a difference in your life and your marriage.
So guys, it’s really up to you. God has placed you as head of the house and with that honor come responsibility. Therefore make wise decisions and listen to your wife, she is your helper.
Feel free to contact me at paul@lovingdevotedhusband.com if you would like to talk, I’m here to listen because sometimes that’s all we need to set things back in order.
Brother in Christ,
Paul Brunet
By the way, here are a list of books I read that really helped me to be a more Loving Devoted Husband which I highly recommend.
